Troubleshooting
If something isn’t working as expected, this guide walks through the most common issues and how to resolve them quickly.
Plan generation is taking a long time
Plan generation may take up to 2 minutes depending on system load and the complexity of your request.
- Keep the app open while the plan is generating.
- Make sure your internet connection is stable.
- Avoid switching apps or putting your phone to sleep during generation.
If generation exceeds 2 minutes, you can safely return to the Planning page and try again.
How to re-generate a plan
Go to the Planning page using the app’s main bottom dock navigation.
- Option 1: Start a new generation request from there.
- Option 2: If you want to regenerate immediately following a generated plan, there's a "Regenerate" button at the bottom of the Planning Page that you may use to immediately generate another new plan. (NOTE: The "Regenerate" button is only there if there's a plan waiting for review to be edited / saved / regenerated / discarded.)"
We recommend starting fresh from the Planning page.
I can’t generate a new plan
- Confirm you have at least 1 credit remaining.
- Check your internet connection.
- Close and reopen the app if needed.
Remember: each generated plan uses 1 credit. AI Parent now generates one plan at a time.
Sign-in issues
- Confirm your internet connection.
- Double-check your email and password.
- Try signing out and back in.
- Update to the latest version of the app.
- Use forgot password to send the reset password email.
Premium is not showing after subscribing
- Confirm you are signed into the same Apple ID or Google account used to purchase.
- Open AI Parent and tap Restore Purchases.
- Force close the app and reopen it.
- Check your internet connection.
If Premium still does not appear, contact AI Parent support and include your device type, OS version, app version, and purchase platform.
App performance issues
- Update to the latest version.
- Restart the app.
- Restart your device if necessary.
