How to create a profile

Creating a profile in AI Parent is quick. To get started, only name and grade are required. After the profile is saved, you can begin creating personalized plans and tasks.

What you need:

Only two fields are required to create a profile: the person’s name and grade.

Step 1: Open the Kids page

After signing in, go to the Kids page in the app. This is where you can view existing profiles and add a new one.

Step 2: Tap to make a profile

On the Kids page, tap the "Add a person" button to make a new profile. This will open the profile setup screens.

Step 3: Enter the name

Type the person’s first and last name into the name field. This name will be used throughout the app when creating plans, viewing tasks, and organizing routines.

Step 4: Select the grade

Choose the grade that best matches the person. The grade helps AI Parent generate more relevant plans and tasks.

Step 5: Birthday and gender (optional)

It is optional to enter the person's birthday and gender during profile creation. If you have this information, it can help AI Parent create more personalized plans, but you can skip these fields and add them later if you prefer.

Tip: Gender doesn't impact the plans and tasks output by AI, as plans and tasks are based on the person's grade level only, and age is considered if it's shared.

Step 6: Choose whether to enable the Homework Plan for this person

The homework plan is a standard plan with a set of tasks to help check that the person completes their assignments on time and builds good homework habits. You can choose to enable it during profile creation or skip it.

The default schedule for homework tasks is daily, and there's no end-date. The schedule may be adjusted later when viewing the homework plan in the Planning page.

Step 7: Save the profile

Finish the setup and save the profile. Once saved, the person will appear on the Kids page and can be selected for future planning.

What happens next

After creating a profile, you can go to the Planning page and start building a plan. AI Parent can help create education, sports, wellness, or custom plans based on the profile you made.

Quick summary
