How to edit a profile
After you create a profile in AI Parent, you can update that person’s basic profile details when something changes. Editing a profile is separate from plans. It only changes the profile information listed below.
You can edit the person’s first name, last name, birthday, grade, gender, and life stage.
Step 1: Open the Profile page
After signing in, go to the Profile page in the app. This is where you can view the profiles saved to your account.
Step 2: Choose the profile you want to edit
Find the person whose profile you want to update. Tap that profile or the edit option shown for that person.
Step 3: Update the profile details
On the edit profile screen, update only the fields that need to change. AI Parent allows profile editing for these fields:
- First name
- Last name
- Birthday
- Grade
- Gender
- Life stage
Step 4: Save your changes
After updating the profile information, tap Save, Update, or the confirmation button shown in the app. Once saved, the updated profile details will be used going forward.
What editing a profile does not change
Editing a profile does not directly edit plans, tasks, schedules, completed task history, points, streaks, or other profiles on the account. It only updates the selected person’s basic profile information.
Deleting a profile
In the edit profile screen, there's a delete button. You may delete a profile if you no longer need that person in AI Parent. Deleting a profile is permanent.
Deleting a profile completely deletes this person and all associated data, including points, plans, tasks, profile details, and related task data. A deleted profile cannot be recovered.
Quick summary
- Open the Profile page.
- Tap "Edit" next to the person's name for the profile that you want to edit.
- Update the first name, last name, birthday, grade, gender, or life stage.
- Save your changes.
- Only delete a profile if you are sure, because deletion is permanent and cannot be recovered.
