Credits & limits

AI Parent uses a simple credit system to generate personalized plans. Credits are only used when AI creates new plan content (not when you view or check off tasks).

What is a credit?

A credit is used when AI Parent generates a plan. In most cases, 1 plan = 1 credit.

If you have at least 1 credit remaining, you can generate another plan. Once your credits reach 0, you’ll need to wait for your next reset or upgrade to Premium.

How credits are used when you generate

When you submit a generation request, AI Parent can generate up to 3 plans for you to choose from. That means a single request can use:

  • 1 credit if you generate 1 plan
  • 2 credits if you generate 2 plans
  • 3 credits if you generate 3 plans (maximum per request)

Each generated plan may include multiple tasks, pacing suggestions, and a structured routine — but it still counts as one credit per generated plan.

Does regenerating use credits?

Yes. If you generate a new version of a plan (for example, changing goals or simply looking for new tasks), it counts as a new plan generation and uses credits the same way: 1 credit per generated plan.

Monthly credit amounts & resets

  • Free: 30 credits per month. Credits reset on the 1st of each month.
  • Premium: 100 credits per month. Credits reset on your subscription billing cycle date.

What does NOT use credits?

  • Viewing an existing plan
  • Checking off completed tasks
  • Reviewing progress
  • Editing student profile information

Credits are only used when new AI-generated plan content is created.

Where can I see my remaining credits?

Credits are shown in the Account page inside the AI Parent app. Login is required to view your account and credit balance.

Why use a credit system?

Generating personalized plans requires AI processing. The credit system helps ensure:

  • Fair usage for all families
  • Predictable performance
  • Simple and transparent usage rules
