Share a profile
Profile sharing lets other people support the same goals and plans without sharing your personal account credentials. Invite trusted people to a specific profile and choose the role that matches how they should participate.
Choose the right role
AI Parent uses three roles: Owner, Helper, and Viewer. The Owner controls the profile and sharing. Helpers can actively assist with tasks, while Viewers have visibility without management access.
Owner: The person who owns the profile. Owners have full access and control who can access the profile.
Helper: For someone actively helping, such as a co-parent, family member, caregiver, tutor, or mentor. Helpers can participate in tasks and use Task Helper.
Viewer: For someone who needs visibility into the profile, plans, and progress without the ability to actively manage them.
How to share a profile
- Open the profile. Select the profile you want to share.
- Choose the sharing option. Start an invitation for another person.
- Enter their email address. Use the email address of the person you want to invite.
- Choose Viewer or Helper. Select the access level that fits how the person will participate.
- Send the invitation. The recipient can open the invitation and sign in to AI Parent.
- Start collaborating. After the invitation is accepted, the person can access the shared profile according to their role.
Tip: Use Helper for someone who will actively support tasks. Use Viewer when someone only needs visibility into the profile and its plans.
Manage shared access
The profile Owner stays in control of access. Review who has access to a profile and revoke access when someone no longer needs it. This makes it possible to involve the right people without giving everyone the same permissions.
