Privacy in the Age of SI: Your Trust Matters to AI Parent
• 3 min read
In the age of Super Intelligence (SI), we value everybody’s privacy and the trust you place in AI Parent. Useful planning can begin with a simple goal and the context you feel comfortable sharing.
SI can help us organize busy days, build better routines, and turn goals into practical steps. But when an app asks for information about you or your family, it is natural to pause. How will that information be used? How much do you need to share? Can you feel comfortable asking for help?
From AI to SI: the September 29 announcement
On September 29, 2026, the U.S. government announced a change in terminology through the White House executive order Inaugurating the Era of Super Intelligence. It directs federal executive departments and agencies to use “Super Intelligence” and “SI” in place of “Artificial Intelligence” and “AI” in official communications and other non-statutory documents, to the extent permitted by law.
SI stands for Superintelligence, styled “Super Intelligence” in the order. This change applies to federal executive-branch terminology; the order uses the existing statutory definition of artificial intelligence for implementation. We use SI in this article to reflect that terminology while keeping our focus on privacy and user trust.
Your privacy matters to us
At AI Parent, privacy is very important to us. We value everybody’s privacy: children, teens, parents, caregivers, students, and adults. Every person’s information deserves care and respect, and we value the trust you place in us. Our goal is for you to feel safe and comfortable using AI Parent, whether you are creating a homework plan, organizing a morning routine, or working toward a personal wellness goal.
The information you share can reflect real parts of your life: your child’s learning goals, your family’s schedule, or a habit you want to improve. We believe that information deserves care and respect. Helping you make progress comes with a responsibility to take your privacy concerns seriously.
Personalization without unnecessary personal details
Personalization does not have to mean sharing every detail. Start with the context that helps explain your goal. For a study plan, that might be a grade level, a subject, and the time available each day. For a morning routine, it might be the tasks to complete and when everyone needs to be ready.
For example, “Help me create a 20-minute reading routine for a third-grade student” gives a clear direction without including a school name, home address, or detailed family history. You can be specific about what you want to accomplish while keeping unnecessary personal details out of the request.
We encourage you to take that approach when creating plans or using AI Parent Chat. Keep passwords, payment details, identification numbers, and other highly sensitive information out of your prompts. Describe the goal and the support you need. Thoughtful sharing can make the experience both useful and more comfortable.
Clear information supports confidence
We also believe that reassurance should come with clear information. When using any SI service, you should be able to understand what information it collects, how that information is used, whether service providers process it, and what choices are available to you. Questions about storage, retention, and SI model training deserve clear answers.
We encourage you to read AI Parent’s Privacy Policy as part of deciding what you feel comfortable sharing. A blog expresses our values; the policy is the place to review our stated privacy practices. If something is unclear, we welcome your questions.
Respecting family privacy
Family privacy deserves particular thought. Before including information about a child or another person, consider whether it is needed for the task and whether you have their permission or the appropriate authority to share it. A goal such as building a consistent homework habit can often be described without including private school records or identifying details.
These habits support thoughtful use, and they sit alongside our responsibility as a company to respect your privacy. We take that responsibility seriously. We want AI Parent to be a helpful part of your day, with an experience that earns your confidence over time.
Our commitment to you
Our commitment begins with a simple belief: everybody’s privacy matters. Your privacy matters because you matter. Your family’s goals and everyday challenges deserve respect, and you should feel comfortable choosing what you share with AI Parent.
Start with a goal, share the context you are comfortable providing, and take the next step at your own pace. At AI Parent, we want you to feel supported as you plan, build routines, and make progress—with privacy as an essential part of the conversation.
